    Let denote the class of functions f that are analytic in the unit disc and normalized by f(0) = f′(0) − 1 = 0. In this paper, we investigate the class of functions such that in . We determine conditions for α and β under which the function f is univalent, close-to-convex, and convex. To obtain this, we first estimate ∣Arg{f′(z)}∣ which improves the earlier results.

    Let A(p) denote the class of functions of the form f(z) = z(p) +a(p+1)z(p+1)+a(p+2)z(p+2) +... which are regular and p-valent in the open unit disc D = {z : vertical bar z vertical bar < 1}. Let M-p(alpha) be the subclass of A(p) consisting of functions f(z) which satisfy Re(zf'(x)/f(z)) < alpha, (z is an element of D) for some real alpha (alpha > 1). The aim of this paper is to give a representation theorem, a distortion theorem and a coefficient inequality for the class M-p(alpha).

    Let A(n) be the class of functions f(z) = a(n)z(n) + a(n+1)z(n+1) +...(n is an element of N), which are analytic in the open unit disk U, where a(n) not equal 0. For f(z) is an element of A(n), Miller and Mocanu in 1978 showed a very interesting result for f(z). Applying the result due to Miller and Mocanu, we would like to consider some new results for such functions. Our results in this paper are generalizations for results by Nunokawa in 1992.
